Our current station is located at the corner of Grandview Ave and Blueridge Ave in downtown Wheaton, across from the former Wheaton Lumber site. At roughly 7000 square feet, the station has become too small for modern apparatus and equipment storage. The station was remodeled to our specifications in 1979, but was not initially built as a fire station. The WVRS is currently in the final design phase for the construction of a new 20,000 square foot station, to be located on land owned by the rescue squad on Arcola Ave at Georgia Ave, across from the Wheaton Library.
