Ped Struck Randolph

On the evening of Sunday, December 11, Medic 742C was dispatched to the 4300 block of Randolph Road for a pedestrian stuck with Ambulance 721 and Paramedic Engine 721.  When the Medic arrived on the scene Company 21 was already with the patient and had began immobilizing and treating the female victim. The crew from M742C then worked with the units from 21 to stabilize and package the patient while Battalion Chief 705E assumed command of the incident

After the patient was placed on a backboard and collared, the patient was placed inside the medic unit and a detailed trauma assessment was performed prior to departure to a local hospital center.
