At approximately 0030 hrs early Monday, February 21st, 2011, county dispatchers dispatched units for a personal injury collision with entrapment in the area of Hewitt avenue and Bluff Point lane in Aspen Hill. Medic 742 and Chief 742 arrived on scene to find an intricate extrication in progress by other Montgomery County Fire/Rescue units. The single vehicle had struck a tree, pinning one occupant and trapping the other. The driver of the vehicle was extricated and transported to a local trauma center by Medic 742 while Chief 742 assisted BC704 with command.
